WORKPLACE EXPOSURE CONSULTING
At Riddor Safety, our professionals are experienced in identifying and dealing with hazardous materials and can assist your team on identification, risk evaluation, handling, management and remediation of hazardous materials from a single substance to multi-substances in a complex large working environment. Riddor Safety’s Workplace Exposure Assessments (WEA) prioritizes chemical, physical and biological hazards in the workplace – resulting in a plan for monitoring and control.
Ensure workplace hazards are identified with our consulting services including:
- Exposure monitoring of chemical gases, vapors, dusts, mists or fumes from toxic gases, including hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and CH4, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including benzene, welding fumes, and lead, solvents, asbestos, silica, and particulates.
- Monitoring and surveying of physical and biological hazards such as noise surveys, personal noise monitoring, radiation monitoring, ergonomics, heat stress, and octave band studies for engineer assessments, radioactive materials, electromagnetic fields and lasers.
- Program evaluations and development, such as Health and Safety Plans (HASP), respiratory protection programs, personal protective equipment, hazard communications, hearing conservation, chemical hygiene plans, and comprehensive industrial hygiene programs.
Our industrial hygienists are highly educated and experienced, and many are certified in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene (CIH) by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and/or the practice of safety (CRSP) by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP). Our industrial hygiene technicians are trained with state-of-the-art industrial hygiene monitoring equipment using NIOSH or other acceptable sampling methods. Our samples are analyzed by an AIHA proficient or accredited laboratory. All projects are supervised and reviewed by our team of CIH professionals.
